Questions

The short answers. More at launch.

What is Stone Chart?

A curling performance app for coaches and players: chart every shot, keep score, and see your stats — on iOS, Android, and the web. It's built to be cross-platform and reliable at the rink, where single-platform tools aren't.

Does it work without internet at the rink?

Yes. Stone Chart is offline-first: charting happens on your device against a local database, so a dropped signal never loses a shot. When you're back online, your games sync automatically.

What platforms is it on?

One app across iPhone, iPad, and Android for charting, plus a web dashboard at app.stonechart.app for reviewing your games, stats, and replays on any browser.

Is there a free version?

Yes — a free demo lets you chart locally for 6 months or 5 games, whichever comes first. After that you keep read access to everything you've charted forever; charting new games moves to a subscription. Nothing is ever deleted.

Can I share a game with my team?

Yes. Publish a game as a read-only link and anyone can open it in their browser — no account needed — to see the scoreboard, shot chart, replay, and stats. Free users can share one game; premium users can share any game.

What does a subscription include?

Unlimited charting, cloud sync across your devices, the web review dashboard, and unlimited share links. One subscription unlocks premium on every platform you use.

How much does it cost?

Individual: $3.99/month or $23.99/year. Clubs can buy seats for their members — 10 seats for $99/year, 25 for $199/year, or unlimited for $399/year. Pricing is set during beta and may change before launch.

Do I need an account?

No — the demo charts locally with no account at all. You only need an account to use what premium adds: syncing across devices and the web dashboard.

Can my whole team see their own stats?

Premium members can link accounts so that games flow to the teammates in them: a linked player sees the games they're in — and their season stats from those games — read-only in their own app and on the web.

How is this different from Curl Coach 2?

Stone Chart is cross-platform (iOS, Android, and web from one account), cloud-synced, and offline-first. You're not locked to a single device or platform, and your data is reviewable anywhere.
